Just to clarify, the public memorial service for both stars who have died only one day apart and are buried together will take place at the Hall of LIBERTY (not Freedom!) at the Forest Lawn Cemetery Hollywood Hills. The Hall can seat up to 1,000 people however those who arrive too late to be seated will still be able to follow the service on screens from a large lobby as well as from outside.

Among those expected to pay tributes to the stars are James Blunt who will premiere a tribute song, Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles and Debbie Reynolds dance school’s students.

Debbie Reynolds With Baby Carrie Fisher

A true Hollywood royalty, Debbie Reynolds will always be the sunshine in “Singing In The Rain”. Carrie Fisher – an accomplished and successful author and an actress – will forever be remembered as Princess Leia. Understandably, the funeral services were private. This mother and daughter however played a role in the lives of millions of their fans, too. Now is our opportunity to say goodbye and pay our respects to both stars. Be there to honor the stars who passed on AND to let Todd Fisher and Carrie Fisher’s daughter (Billie Catherine Lourd) know that their loved ones touched MANY lives….

So tragic

Two fabulous women, two successful lives and yet, their lives were filled with undeserved pain, fame and fortune not withstanding. It's a double loss for us all. I'm glad they left together not knowing the pain of separation.
